Delegate Summers moved to amend the bill on page 102, section 11c, line 39, by striking the period and inserting the following, "may be obligated to provide medical assistance. A claim may be waived by the department, if the department determines, pursuant to applicable federal law and rules and regulations, that the claim will cause substantial hardship to the surviving dependents of the deceased."

And,

On page 106, section 19, line 20, by striking the words, "of the";

And,

On page 108, section, 26, line 16, after the word, "Services" by inserting the word, "shall";

And,

On page 720, section 1, line 27, by striking, "Children and Families" and inserting in lieu thereof, "Social Services";

And,

On page 720, section 1, line 41, by striking, " of Children and Families" and inserting in lieu thereof, "for Social Services".
